'The room was clean and very cute however there was no one at the front office when we got there and their maintenance man saw us in the parking lot asking for our contact info without ever telling us who he was. He was trying to be helpful but I except someone to be available at the office upon check in. In addition there was work being done in the room above us and all kinds of of banging happening until 11 at night and then again starting at 6 AM'

'We had a fantastic stay at Black Bear Lodge. The lodge is absolutely beautiful, with a stunning wooden interior that gives it a real mountain lodge feel. It was incredibly peaceful and the perfect place to relax and unwind. The location was ideal too, tucked away in a quiet setting but only a short drive from local shops, restaurants and other amenities. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.'

They kept us up to date on conditions at the cabin, and also told us which roads to watch out for. Overall, when we arrived we were extremely pleased with not just the communication, but the accommodations as well. Our stay was everything we had hoped.'

'Clean, rssy to find, more than I expected. I was looking forward to a little fire in the pit under the dtars, but ess told absolutely no open flmrs. I TOTALLY understand, but it is the main picture and kind of a selling point.'

'Super easy check in, a great place to rest quick after seeing Sequoia! Not a huge space but enough for my boyfriend and I for a night. Walls are thin so if you are a light sleeper, be aware of that. Otherwise, great spot to spend the night!'
