Great location but having a toilet and shower “stall” in the bedroom as opposed to having an actual bathroom is just plain weird. The bicycles are a nice idea but they don’t work. Breakfast was good and the staff was very helpful.

In town tranquility

The Vibe is a spotlessly clean place right in the heart of Todos Santos, but just far enough off the main street to be completely tranquil. Staff prepares a lovely continental breakfast each morning. Rooms are flawlessly clean and the beds are perfect. We had lots of room with a large private patio equipped with a great hammock, kitchen and living room in addition to the bedroom. We stayed during the Tropic of Cancer music festival. Proximity to Hotel California, the main venue for the event, was ideal; away from the hustle and bustle of the festival, while easily accessible. Todos Santos is amazing. Cons: Bathroom door is louvered, so if you need privacy, this could be awkward... No pool

This was a nice quiet place right in the town center..it was a bit expensive for my usual budget..but nice places in todos are all fairly expensive. . The location was great for checking out the music festival and getting home easily after the late nights. It had the only hot shower of any place I've stayed in Baja yet which was great after 2 weeks of camping.

We received a note prior to checking in, indicating our host would be waiting for us upon arrival. That was thoughtful. Very clean and comfortable accommodations. Breakfast was basic, lots of fresh fruit, bread, pastry, juice and coffee. No television but a lovely patio to relax.

A Todos Santos Retreat

We love the Todos Santos area, and we were not disappointed during our latest visit, staying at The Vibe. I received an e-mail from the lodge a few days before to ask when I thought I would be checking-in. I felt bad, because I gave a time that was a little too ambitious after a long car rental check-in. However, we were warmly greeted and shown to our room which was clean and spacious on the 2nd floor. Good lighting and views of the distant ocean. There seemed to be very few people around, and we enjoyed the continental breakfast by ourselves each morning. Todos Santos is a peaceful and lovely town. Nice people and good food. A delight was the school Christmas special at Hotel California. An easy walk from the bed and breakfast. The only thing missing from The Vibe is a small bar or happy hour. We had to go to other hotels for that type of atmosphere. However, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope that others check it out!

Nice place

We came to Todos Santos during summer, their off season. So the town was really quiet. The hotel room was very spacious and nice, clean and stylish. Staff was very responsive and helpful in whatever we were looking for. Eg we received beach towels and an umbrella for a day at the beach. Had water and coffee for the room and every morning a super breakfast. Can really recommend this place!

Charming hotel centrally located in Todos Santos

The hotel and town were both beautiful. The town is very rustic & full of traditional Mexican cuisine & art to enjoy so it was nice to return to such a modern, centrally located hotel in the evening. Everything was new, clean and the bed was very comfortable! The complimentary bicycles were also a nice treat that we put to use. Definitely will return.

Terrific place to stay!

An absolutely special place to stay in Todos Santos! The rooms are spotless and very relaxing. Bedroom is modern and beds are extremely comfortable. Great location, parking is convenient. Secure and safe. Free use of bikes if you want. We will be back and highly recommend Vibe bed and breakfast! 🙂 Staff are great as well!!!

Real gem, boutique-style hotel in picturesque Todos Santos. It seems like a new place that has maybe a dozen rooms. We got spacious room on second floor: clean, functional with strong WiFi. There is a free parking available. Welcoming staff. Continental breakfast was sufficient. We liked an ambience of the place, with soft background music, seeping around main floor area. Walking distance to all places in town. You'd need a car to reach beaches (5-10 minutes)

Noisy!

So... "Vibe" is a misnomer, because there isn't any. I think you go to Tota (and pay less) for that. Karen and crew were friendly but chastised us for not setting our arrival time. She gave us an upgrade to a terrace (room 4) that we couldn't enjoy because of loud guests above (room 8). Fridge had overly loud compressor (needs to be fixed or replaced) but actually was a blessing because it served as grey noise (white noise is too gentle) to help cover up the crashing and banging from above that started at 630a! Drumming? Dancing? Wearing heels? Clogs? My word. Room was nice and clean and new. No TV. Serviceable continental breakfast.

Poor service - non-existent check-in

1) I attempted to check-in around 5PM - there was nobody at the hotel. I rang the bell, sounded the car horn but nobody was there. After waiting for 30 minutes, I went across the street and was able to call the hotel number - 15 minutes later someone appeared who was able to give me the key to enter the hotel. This is inexcusable - they had my confirmed reservation and contact information but did not communicate anything as to who would be there. 2) Safety - there is no phone in the room and nobody on the premises after 3PM - this is a huge safety issue as there is nobody to call if help is needed for any reason. The street is badly lit and is on a lonely backstreet - the walls can easily be scaled and the locks are just ordinary mechanical locks that can be broken easily. Beware!! 3) Breakfast - just a continental breakfast - nothing to write home about. What is it about a B&B that the owners do not understand. Poor service 4) Rooms - twin beds and noisy A/C units. The sink is a single sink with just enough space for a toothbrush stand. The fan for the A/C unit could not be adjusted. 5) Overall there is a lack of customer service or care - when I explained to the person that I had waited 45 minutes to check in, she couldn't care less and said I should take it up with the owners as she and the staff left at 3PM. I would not recommend this hotel at all - there are far better choices available.

Very hip ,clean,and nice!

Excellent place would stay again with great location and wonderful staff. Very hip and modern! Says it had bikes and does but tires were flat so no trip around city! Close to everything and on quite street! Amazing fruit, homade breads, cappuccino for breakfast!

Pequeno hotel moderno, limpio y cerca del centro

Eramos los unicos turistas y nos gusto la tranquilidad del lugar. lo unico que recomendaria es incluir algo salado en el desayuno (por ejemplo tajadas de queso, un huevo duro ..). Por lo demas todo excelente, muy buena cama, amplio espacio, quietud del patio y con mencion especial para el cake de zanahoria.
