The pool was filled with paint chips and floating piles of hair. The first floor smelled of smoke and animals. There was a smear of what looked like blood on our bathroom wall. The floors in our room were covered in hair, dust, and old food. The people sitting in their cars smoking were creepy, to the point where we didn't...

'Whenever I'm traveling thru Southern CT on business, the Lamplighter is my go to for staying over. Clean room. Comfortable bed, plenty of Hot Water, microwave and mini fridge, good TV. Reasonable price, close to the highway. Restaurants within walking distance. It has it all.'

'Love the pool is always amazing. The hot tub could’ve been changed out more often. They did a really good job with the breakfast amazing. I’d recommend the stock more hot cocoa, and they clean only when customers are not getting food. The rooms were really wonderful.'
