'There were bugs, possibly ants, in the juice machine. I let the manager know. He looked but didn’t really seem to know what to say or do. I had already swallowed some bugs in my juice and had spit the rest out. I thought it was pulp! I know, gross. Breakfast was an individually packaged pastry, like a bear claw, no cereal, oatmeal, eggs, pancakes, etc., like at most other similar hotels. Room was very clean, AC and heater worked well. Water pressure excellent. '

'The front desk and manager were friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately the area is not safe, our room was not cleaned or beds made, others rooms were not clean or made as well. I felt bad for the manager and front desk person. They did give us a refund and we ended up staying in a more expensive nice hotel downtown. We were just passing the so thought a clean inexpensive hotel would be perfect, unfortunately this wasn’t it.'

'DO NOT STAY HERE!! This hotel is the example of why you should never book a nonrefundable room. I am in Austin to work overnights. I booked through Expedia and then called at around 0645 . I asked if there was an early checkin fee the lady was short but said yes it it $10. I asked how early could i check in. Her response was "You can check in now if you want to". My shift got extended so i worked until 8, I went and ate breakfast then proceeded to the hotel. I said o was there to ckeck in, she...

'First room assigned was not cleaned or prepped to be occupied, 2nd contained illicit drug residue, I was assigned a second room that was furnished with queen beds and not the single king size bed that I’d reserved , I checked out a day earlier than planned because of these issues and my expenses were not duly compensated or discounted…'
