Our stay at the house was excellent. The property is ideally located near the launch ramp, which made access to the lake very convenient. The home was spacious, clean, and thoughtfully prepared, with a well-stocked kitchen and a generous welcome basket. There was ample room for our entire family to relax comfortably. The views from the property are truly remarkable and far exceed what is captured in the photos. We would gladly return and highly recommend this home to future guests.

Comfortable home with amazing views

The home has been beautifuly remodeled and is a very comfortable stay. My kids loved playing on the hillside around the house. We all loved the amazing views. Things to note there is a lot of stairs so not a good layout for elderly. There was no blinds on the windows which was fine except my kids would wake up with the sun. There is a boat launch 8min away for Folsom. Grocery and some restaurants 3min drive.

We had a wonderful stay in El Dorado Hills. The property is beyond fully equipped. It offers amazing views of Folsom Lake facing west for nice sunsets and the home neighborhood is great for walking to the nearby parks. We had lots of nice wildlife around including deer, peacocks and hawks flying at eye level. The owners provided a very clean space, updated appliances to cook and a very warm welcome to a great space. I would highly recommend this VRBO.

Graduation Getaway

We chose this location due to number of beds/bathrooms for our group as well as proximity to what we traveled to the area for - high school graduation. Close to several stores, restaurants and the highway.The views are wonderful! The cleanliness was satisfactory. The deck set up with patio furniture was a peaceful retreat. I truly appreciated the communication with hosts about late check in and any other items that came up. They went above and beyond to accommodate us and make us feel so welcome. If back in the area, we would definitely consider staying again.

El Dorada Hills Gem

We had a relaxing and wonderful stay at this property. We especially appreciated the classy decor, the cleanliness, gorgeous views, the outdoor deck, fully equipped kitchen, the bright and open rooms. Every bedroom had its own character and comfort. No missing an episode of your favorite shows as each room had a tv. Even the master bathroom!!! The owners are so very kind, accommodating, friendly and helpful. As if the privilege of staying at their beautiful home-wasn’t enough, they provided a welcome basket and card that will warm your heart. I do not know Shelia and Cloyce personally but judging by the ambiance of their home environment, I got a clear sense of a couple that are rich in faith and love. My kind of people. This El Dorado Hills gem will not disappoint anyone looking for a clean, spacious, attention to detail, home away from home.

Lovely Sunsets

A family illness nearby caused us to need a house and we were glad to find this custom home overlooking the American River. It is spacious, nicely furnished and totally peaceful. The kitchen had all we needed to prepare meals. We only used the master suite bed which was especially comfortable and had cozy linens. Huge windows face out to the water and valley below and frame beautiful sunsets. I especially liked that they kept decor simple and uncluttered so there was a lot of room for our things. Sheila and Cloyce are very thoughtful and caring hosts who were available when we had questions. They are a blessing.
