'We love staying at HDM. The included breakfasts are amazing. The access to town and the beach clubs is a must! The only minor complaint is that the concierge service was difficult to communicate with via their website chat. The owners of the property could invest in new towels and perhaps robes for the guests. You could tell this property is just a rental.'

'Terrific condo in the best part of town. Close to everything and condo is very well stocked with everything you need and more. Building is quiet and pool area was perfect for our family of four. Only two small things that did not really affect the trip for us, but could be important for others: 1) the two en-suite bathrooms do not have a door that separates them from the bedrooms. Could be awkward; and 2) the restaurant a few buildings down plays loud music with big bass from about 12 noon daily...

'The area in the immediate vicinity has some “temporary” issues that are beyond control of the property owner/manager, but definitely worth considering. There is a major street construction project underway that makes walking directly to the “restaurant row” sketchy. 'The property was perfect for our family getaway to Punta Mita. The unit comfortably slept 8 people with on suite bathrooms with every room. The two master suites were enormous and luxurious, and the kitchen and dining area were perfect for entertaining. Location can’t be beat. Short walk into town through a private gate for those in the mood to walk, while the 6-person golf cart provided with the property allowed for all the beach clubs to be easily reached. We did have some challenges with the unit itself and had to have maintenance come multiple times: lights that would turn to strobe lights in middle of night so we couldn't use one of the bedrooms, a waterspout that wouldn't stop dripping, and a toliet that got clogged and/or broke multiple times. 'We absolutely loved our stay here at El Anclote. This particular condo unit is one of the best in the entire building. It undoubtably has the best views and being an end unit, it has a bit more privacy than others.
