'The view is beautiful the staff is somewhat attentive and one would think that the hotel and its rooms have not been touched since the 1970s. I travel constantly this is the worst hotel room I’ve stayed in, in years…'

3. Hotel San Gregorio
Hotel San GregorioPienza

'Beautiful structure in typical local style. Very friendly staff and always ready to answer your questions with a smile.
The food at the restaurant is good but not at the highest level you can experience in the area.
We enjoyed the location a lot being very close to Pienza and Montelpulciano. Unfortunately the rooms are quite close to the main road and it can get noisy early in the morning.
The view on Pienza is simply marvellous as well as the country road to Monticchiello.'

'Very nice property and easily walkable to all of Pienza. It was also a convenient base to explore the Tuscany region. The property was clean and the bed was comfortable. A lot of restaurants and shopping in less than a 5 minute walk. The photos of the apartment were accurate. I would add to the property description that parking is not at the property but public parking is nearby (for clarity).Overall, I was happy with my stay.'

'Pros: The host was so wonderful and what a magical experience they had a Restuarant that tailored to us on site. They have a walk up the hill from the apartment that keeps you off the road. Can’t wait to come back.
Cons: There was nothing that we did not enjoy in our stay'
