'My wife and I got away for a long weekend after being kid-free. We brought kayaks and wanted to explore the area. We enjoyed the location very much, with easy access to Hoodsport and Hama Hama. The access to the water wasn't as easy as we hoped, but the fact that there's a little county park in front of the house did work out for us. The neighbors seem very protective of the beach though, so that's weird. Luckily the smoke from the Bear Gulch fire didn't come down low enough to bother us either,...

'Very special quiet retreat. I loved the setting: a beautiful meadow surrounded by mountains. The Dosewallips is a short walk away and you can hear it from the cabin. "Plafond is van ‘karton’. Hoorden voetstappen van gasten in kamer boven ons en plafond kraakte bij elke stap. Stonden om 5.00 uur op en slapen was hierna niet meer mogelijk. Ook het drukke verkeer was goed hoorbaar in onze kamer. Schone handdoeken en toilet maar bed was erg zacht en twijfel of beddengoed was gewisseld. "
