'Manitou Lodge is gorgeous! The lodge itself is amazing: rustic vibe with elk skins, lots of oversized furniture, games, books and big pillows. It would be perfect for a special occasion.If you are interested in the tent sites, number 3, 6, 7, and 9 are the largest and nicest in my opinion.I stayed at the Outback cabin which is the smallest cabin available. 'From the moment we drove up it was exciting and exactly what we were wanting.. a place in nature, quiet and beautiful after a long day playing in nature…. The lodge is eclectic, warm and welcoming… the first night there was only one other guest who stayed in their room, so we basically had the place to ourselves as we sat at the table and played games and cozied by the fire and just enjoyed the evening…. We were in the loft room with nobody next to us so again the top floor was all to ourselves...

'The kitchen was stocked, we didn't use it because we were out late each day and got dinner on our adventures, but anything you need was there. The camper suited us perfectly and it was in between the places we wanted to visit so it was a great location! Comfortable and clean! We would recommend it and stay again. With my other 2 children it would be tight, but manageable. '

'Beautiful cabin inside and out! We had a wonderful time! Everything was clean and well stocked. There were more than enough sleeping areas. We really appreciated the on-demand water heater and towels. The host was wonderful to work with. Highly recommend!!!'
