'The Cozy House looks just as it does in the pictures. I love the location in the hills of Santa Teresa. I searched long and hard for a location outside of the tourist area, but close enough to enjoy the sights and a room with a view of more than the building next door. Cozy House checked all of the boxes. The staff was accommodating and helpful. The room was pretty clean. I did notice a few overlooked areas, but nothing alarming or that made me feel uncomfortable. The breakfast was...

'muito bom'

'Estava tudo limpo e organizado ! Café da manhã com bastante variedade .'

'The location of this hostel is fantastic, and the people here are incredibly helpful and kind. However, I wouldn't choose to stay here again due to a few drawbacks. Cleanliness was a bit of an issue—while the downstairs washroom was clean, the upstairs shower area was in bad shape, and the shared kitchen was quite dirty. The property is in an older building tucked behind a condo, and it lacks a social atmosphere. It was also a bit uncomfortable having people sleeping on the couches in the main...

'It is absolutely a beautiful unique house with a gorgeous garden… the room was very spatious and amazingly quiet. Communication was a little difficult breakfast basic and the room could be cleaner but it was my first visit to South America and am probably too much used to European standards'

'Starting with the great location, which gives you easy access to restaurants and beaches in Ipanema and Copacabana. Also, the attention and communication from the host were awesome. And of course, the room was amazing, spotless, and exactly as shown in the pictures, with clean, comfy beds and bathrooms. The only deal-breaker for me was the stairs that take me to my room on the 3rd floor, but I wouldn’t doubt staying here again for sure.'

'It’s okay'

'Good hotel, extensive breakfast, good location to bus station but also to metro to reach beaches, big rooms'
