Shore to Please was an amazing place to stay for the Labor day holiday and Sweet 16 Birthday celebration for my daughter. The house is beautifully decorated and was perfect for us (The beds were SO comfortable!) We had eight 15-17 year olds and three 19 year old kids and it was perfect because they had "their" area and the adults had our own area as well. The kitchen was great to cook and plenty of space for everyone to sit either at the kitchen bar or the table. We loved all the different living areas as well as the baconies (esp the 2nd floor where you can grill and watch football). The beach and pool were both very convenient to walk to and the Tram was great too. We loved being so close to bike or walk to the shops and restaurants. We hope to visit Shore to Please again!
The house is located on the main boulevard with access to the pool just across the street, a tram stop nearby and a short walk to 30A. There is plenty of space and itâs decorated totally beach-y. Well equipped with dishes, glassware, utensils, pots and pans (although one of the handles was very loose) but lacking a bit with serving dishes and food storage containers; also no blender. A couple minor maintenance things - the bathroom door for the J&J didnât stay closed and a couple lightbulbs were out; also the shower door downstairs was a bit wobbly; the lighter in the grill didnât work so we had to manually light with matches. Lastly the TVâs were frustrating. No guide on-line or written list of channels - basically just had to surf around to try and find channels; definitely no options for any apps.
These r all minor things but when your paying a premium you expect better.
Our family went to Seacrest this past week. The house we rented was just as it was described on the website. We loved the location and the space of the house. The house itself was clean, spacious, and they offered so many cooking utensils (very rare). We received good communications prior to checking in, checked in during our stay, and gave us clear instructions on check out. We loved this house.
We had the most amazing time in this beautiful home! It was just as the pictures reflected. We will definitely be booking this house again. Thank you for such a memorable time.
We had a great stay at this home! The community was beautiful, and the home was clean and within close proximity to all activities, enough space for our entire group without feeling cramped. Very comfy beds and decorated how a modern beach house should be! Loved it all!! Spacious bathrooms and all the amenities.
The proximity of the house to the beach is great, just understand you are not allowed to ride your bike there. If you have bags and ice chests you must take the tram system because the beach access, across the street, is gated. It is a pleasant walk, but not with a lot of things or small children. You also do not have access between 6am-10pm, but public access is available down the way.
The tram system was great though! Very friendly staff and timely for the most part. The trams run all day but you do need to call and let them know you need a ride going to and from the beach.
We were steps from the community pool so really easy with kids to walk back and forth for lunch if needed. Get there early to get chairs! It was crowded! They do have a bar and restaurant with great food! I had their shrimp basket and great pina coladas too!
We rode our bikes to Peddlers, downtown Rosemary and Georgeâs with ease. Great location for breweries, Starbucks, live music and shopping!
I would definitely stay here again and have already recommended this house to several other folks! Thanks for an amazing vacation!
The beach house is beautiful, spacious, and well-stocked. The beds are very comfortable! Plenty of room for all 15 of us to spread out throughout the house. The only thing I missed was a toaster and salt and pepper shaker. The area is very family friendly and the tram is very convenient to use if needed, although we mostly walked to the beach. My one complaint of this area that the beach is much too crowded during the peak summer months. There is just not enough space on the beaches to spread out, but I think you could drive to a public beach and have more space to spread out. The pool is beautiful. The bike riding in the area is a perfect and enjoyable way to get around. Great beach trip!
Nine adults, three teens/tweens and two babies stayed for a week.
Pros
- Lovely home, which fit all of us and our gear no problem.
- Location was perfect for the tram and pool
- Bikes were included, which saved us from renting
Cons
- The home desperately needs the inside to be repainted. However the home is for sale so I understand why they would probably not do that before hand as it would be requested upon sale.
- No toaster
- Slip covers for couches needed a wash
- Previous renters left deflated floats and beach toys on side of property that werenât removed.
Extra Note
- The air conditioning broke, heat index was 108 that day, inside got up to 83. We spoke to Carlene from the Management Company, not helpful. After four calls and waiting overnight and till noon the next day I asked to speak to a manager, to which I was refused. Within 30 minutes however, Jessica, a manager from the company texted me with her apologies, took over and the issue was resolved within a couple of hours. While Carlene could have cared less, Jessica really stepped up and saved us.
The house layout and location were perfect for our group. Pool, beach, and green space for games were within walking distance. We could walk or bike to the shops and restaurants. Biking through the nearby neighborhoods of Rosemary, Inlet, and Alys beach was fun. Adults had a great dinner at Pescado in Rosemary one night. Loved everything about our trip. Only negative for us was the small and very crowded beach access for Seacrest. We ended up driving to different public beaches (Inlet and Seagrove) so our big group could set up a tent, etc. Beaches in this area are absolutely gorgeous!!!
It was lovely. Great for big groups. Only issue for so many people based on number of people the house accommodates housekeeping needs to increase basic consumables like toilet paper and dishwashing pods this is minor in grand scheme. Thank you for great memories!! Would totally stay again.
We just returned home from an amazing week at Shore to Please! The property was lovely, had tons of amenities, and was so close to both the beach and pool that even our two year old could easily make the walk! The 30AEscapes hotline was responsive to any minor issue. I highly recommend this home. The only issue was that the wifi was not strong, but our other friends on 30A during 4th of July week reported the same issues, so I think it's a broader issue than just this property. A+++
We needed a week at the beach and this house delivered everything we could need!
It was just me, my husband and two littles so we had more than enough space.
The location is perfect. Very short walk to the pool and the beach trolley stop is right across the street.
We parked our car on Wednesday and didnât get back in the car until we were packing up!
Loved it and we are hoping to book again later this year.
We absolutely loved this house! The location was amazing, and the house was clean and spacious. Check in and out was a breeze and even the cleaning company that arrived when we were checking out was incredibly kind. There were 11 girls on this trip and our only complaint would be a full length mirror would be nice but other than that AMAZING! We will definitely be back!
Such a lovely home! We so enjoyed our family time in Seacrest and Shore to Please. Excellent location, just across from beach access. Close to everything. The house is beautifully decorated and equipped with most things you will need. My only complaint would be how bad the WiFi was. It was hard to get work done and made watching tv hard too. Besides that, it was the perfect getaway and every teenagers dream spring break.
excellent house and neighborhood but some flooding after rain.
The house is beautiful and we would definitely stay there again. The only problem was the flooded driveway. We did have a lot of rain but our driveway was the only one that stayed flooded for 3 days. The water was about 10" deep so we had to take our shoes off to get to get to the car. Something needs to be done about that.
We loved the location, size and beautiful finishes in this house. We would definitely stay there again as the 4 king beds and 2 master suites are features seldom offered. That being said, I do agree with other reviewers that some of the furniture covers and rugs could be cleaner. Replacing the main floor master bath rug is a must and only a $10 -20 investment. I dusted the kitchen lighting fixtures on day one as I could not look at that amount of dust for the week. This house would be perfect if the just a little more effort was put into the upkeep.
Beautiful home! We had an issue with the master toilet which multiple maintenance personnel were sent out to handle. The issue continued but we used a separate bathroom. Overall great stay
