'Lovely cottage, petite but perfect for the two of us central to Alnwick and great facilities'

'Location ideal for visiting the spectacular Northumberland coast line and towns. Although the weather not too kind we largely managed to avoid the rain during our numerous walks. Great for wildlife, birders will love it. Accommodation was clean comfy but if we're honest and we mean this respectfully it is in need of bringing up to date, lick of paint, coat hooks screwing back on, extra blankets would be a bonus as would a new set of pots and pans. Oh, and the oven also needs a good internal...

'The property is in a great rural location for peace and quiet. Ideal as a base for exploring the local area. Well equipped kitchen if not eating out. Lovely property.'

'Absolutely wonderful! Willow cottage has everything you need for a break away from home, lovely hosts, quiet setting, a pub a short drive or walk away, a farm shop next door and a local shop and the best Indian restaurant/ takeway only a two minute walk away.'

'What a beautiful place to spend Easter with the family. We had a wonderful stay. Our hosts were very friendly and made us feel right at home. The house was spotless and very warm and comfortable. We would happily return when we are next in the area. '

'Property in an ideal location, however a little tlc is needed. Microwave is in need of a good clean , dust on all skirting boards. Shower not very clean in corners , no oven gloves, towels very thin.Such a shame as it could be so much better with a little care'

'A lovely cozy little cottage in an ideal location. Dog friendly too. Only negative is the bed isn’t a double it’s more like a 3/4. Didn’t put us off, would definitely return.'

'Morpeth is a fantastic community and a quick ride on bus or train into Newcastle. The Cottage is right on the river and connected to the park on the other side. Lots to do in Morpeth — Bagpipe Museum and Fannie’s Emporium Antique Centre are both worth a visit (bring a compass to Fannie’s so you don’t get lost in the warren of rooms).
