'Beautiful property, really well appointed and very clean, lovely outlook over the gardens. The property is located in the grounds of the owner’s property who provided us with a warm welcome and recommended places to eat and walk. The village is great and has pubs, bars and cafes a short walk away, we didn’t need to use the car all weekend. Would recommend'

'This property was fantastic, excellent location overlooking the sea. Perfect for 4 couples as each bedroom has its own en-suite/bathroom. Welcome basket of bread, jam, tea, coffee, butter and milk was nice touch. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you'

'We hebben een heerlijke week vakantie gehad op deze locatie. Zeer ruime woning met alle voorzieningen aanwezig. We hadden wat problemen met warm water, waardoor meerdere mensen achter elkaar douchen een probleem was. Verder was het zeer goed verzorgd, zeer vriendelijke eigenaar! Tip voor de nederlandse reiziger, neem een reisstekker mee!'

'This amazing house was ideal for 6 adults, a toddler and a dog. There was plenty of room for all of us and having the extra living room with TV meant we weren’t under each other’s feet all the time. The house is well equipped and had everything we needed. It’s a great place for exploring Bamburgh, Seahouses, Holy Island and further afield. We went to Berwick on Tweed and had a great, value for money, lunch at Limoncello, 3 course lunch for £6.95 would definitely recommend. The coffee shop next...

'Very nice property, was very clean and we enjoyed our stay. John's communication was excellent. Just could of done with a small bin in each bedroom and there was only 1 dishwasher tablet but these are only minor things but holiday and house was very adequate for our stay at Newbiggin on the sea. We even spotted dolphins from the bedroom window. Parking was ok on the road outside. 5 stars given. Kevin and family'

'Lovely, clean property in a great location. Everything as expected and house nice and warm. Only note, instructions say the key is at the back of the house where the parking is but the parking and the key holder is clearly at the front of the house - not sure how a simple instruction like this can be wrongly noted. Other than this, everything great and would recommend property.'

'Clean, spacious and well furnished apartment in amazing location. Log burner just perfect for the time of year we were warm and cosy all weekend. Great for walks and exploring seahouses. Everything we needed and host really helpful Thank you! Would recommend and would definitely stay again.'

'Omdat wij geen bevestiging kregen van deze reservering, hebben wij een andere locatie geboekt. Wij hebben echter wel onze aanbetaling gedaan en die is tot op heden niet teruggestort ondanks ons herhaaldelijk verzoek daartoe.'

'Het huisje is prima en voorzien in alles. De sofa in de serre is niet optimaal, maar voor een paar nachten goed te doen. Als je een hond meeneemt dan is het lastig. De buurman heeft een vogelopvang en kwam direct aangeven dat de hond nergens in de tuin los mag. En vergeet het algemene hek niet. Anders komt de beste man het direct vertellen. Dus zonder hond, een prima huisje.'

'The cottage is full of character and thoughtfully furnished. Actually enjoyed having no tv. Kids loved the outside space. Summer house was perfect on an evening. Within short driving distance from Alnwick - castle and garden. Communication with host excellent.'

'We stayed here for a short break with the family. We were greeted with a lovely welcome pack from the owners and was really impressed with the lodge. Its location was perfect for places to visit, we went to Bamburgh castle, Berwick, Alnwick gardens and Holy Island in the time we stayed. The accommodation was spacious, clean and warm on arrival, with the log burner as a welcome extra. We would definitely recommend for a family getaway and would stay again in the future.'

'Came up for the Kielder Marathon weekend. Cosy cottage which had everything we needed. Comfy bed, powerful hot shower and good kitchen facilities. '

'I stayed here for 3 nights with my parents who are in their eighties. Everything is on one level so it was perfect for them. I was able to park close by which was a bonus as they have a wheelchair. It’s a beautiful place to stay if like us you just want to be able to have a holiday which is accessible. Lindisfarne is a stunning island to visit and although we didn’t go off road they thoroughly enjoyed their short break here. If you’re a walker you couldn’t pick a more perfect base.'
