'Looking for the villa experience in Phoenix? We have stayed at both the Westin Kierland Villas and Marriott's Canyon Villas in Phoenix/Scottsdale several times each. Upon check-in (room wasn't ready until after 4:00 pm as stated), we were told that the adjacent JW resort facilities were not available like usual due to a "black out week". Never once was this communicated to us up front by the host, the actual Marriott point holders who had the week, nor Canyon Villas themselves. The listing...

'Stayed in a Queen Suite over a weekend. The room was as described and clean. The appliances and bathroom in working condition. I utilized the pool & fitness center--both were well maintained and clean. Recommend this place for a solo traveler or a family.'

'The stay was ok…shower was very narrow only 1 person can fit at a time, toilet paper holder was broken. No robe or slippers when we 1st arrived in our room. We had to call and they brought them. A bunch of extra fees that added up as we did the couples retreat and put it on the room instead of buying it at the moment. Pool side very basic with basic furniture that actually was a bit uncomfortable after 15 minutes of laying down. The people were amazing and helpful, but we will probably not go...
