« It was very clean and it’s pet friendly. The host went above and beyond and was truly friendly while doing so. A great location and quiet at this time of year. The bed was very comfortable. The shower nice and hot. I would rent that seaside shanty again. »

« This cabin had everything we needed for a one-night pit stop up to Bar Harbor. We especially liked the rural location, the tea kettle, and stove for heat. We were able to sign into our Netflix and watch a thriller on a dark, rainy night, gathered in the living room area. We did not like that there were several large flies inside of the cabin. We killed a few that were bothering us, but even after that my nephew made a cup of tea at night and one of the flies flew into his tea cup! »

« The host was absolutely amazing. We had a little hiccup in the beginning but was fixed immediately. The response was immediate to rectify the issue. It was a completely unforeseen problem a massive storm the day before arrival knocked out the power and the heat pump wouldn't start. It was honestly amazing to be able to look at the stars in the sky. It had breathtaking views from the private beach. It's only around 30 minutes to the border. « The home was absolutely lovely!! Such a nice touch with fresh flowers . Very clean, comfortable linens and the little extras that a bathroom might need if a guest forgot some toiletries. Only wish we had more than one night in the home!! »

« A cute little cottage that was clean and convenient. It was a little over a half an hour drive to Acadia, and about ten minutes into downtown Ellsworth. My kids appreciated having their own bed. The host was quick to reply to messages, and check in/out was very easy. It isn’t a luxury cottage, but it was clean and the beds were comfortable. The photos are very accurate. The bathroom had plenty of towels, a good hairdryer, and a 3-1 body wash. Bring your own shampoo, or it was cheap to purchase...
