« The property is beautiful and the hosts are kind and welcoming, ensured privacy, were responsive to needs. It was summertime and particialty hot for the area a few days and they gave us advice on keeping it comfortable but it did hit 80 degrees in the living area, while the AC kept the bedroom cool. There are bugs, it cant be helped so if you cant handle ants and spiders think twice. There was soap scum in the bathroom but otherwise it felt very clean. « Our stay here was magical! Communication with David was a breeze from the start. Due to flight times from Florida, we arrived in the evening, but he was there to greet us with his warm smile & friendly demeanor. The cottage is ideal! You will think you stepped into a "Maine Cottages" magazine. It is well equipped, and was capable of hosting our "Lobstah Boil" with 20 guests, a live Jazz Saxophonist & a keyboard player! The views can't be beat. Want to kayak? Want to canoe? Conveniently located...

« Les bâtiments recyclés sont un heureux mélange de rusticité et d’éléments technologiques modernes. Le propriétaire est très accueillant et surtout très sympathique. Nous avons envie de retourner à cet endroit pour passer plus de temps à discuter avec lui. Je recommande cet hébergement à ceux et celles qui ont envie d’un endroit tranquille ou l’on dort bien pourvu de toutes les commodités dont on a besoin pour se ressourcer. »

The location was great for what I wanted, an hour to Salem, MA for a day trip and an hour to Portland, ME to see lighthouses and York, ME for the day to see a beachside town. The rental was new and had everything as advertised. »
