'The room was a really good size and spotless clean. Like the little touches like bottled water in the rooms and choices of tea, coffee and hit chocolate. Staff really friendly and nothing was an issue to them. Breakfast was suberb, with good choice and cooked to order rather than buffet '

'On average very good! The rooms are a bit on the older side but cozy nonetheless, the only thing that really needs to go is the carpet and the bed could do with some new matresses. Housekeeping could come by a little more often to check for toilet paper etc. The breakfast is really good! And the staff was absolutely lovely! There was a wedding as we were staying there but we didn't have any problems with the noise. Granted, if you are a light sleeper this maybe isn't the hotel for you but it...

'Sfeervol hotel op schitterend lokatie. Vanuit de kamer op de 2e verdieping een prachtig uitzicht op zee met de fameuze vogeleiland Bass Rock. De Jan van Genten vliegen langs het hotel. Jammer is de verouderde badkamer en de lage waterdruk.'

'We really loved our overnight stay at The Crown and Kitchen in East Linton. Really cute little place with beautiful room. The staff were so friendly and the breakfast was delicious. Would highly recommend this place. There is a train station in East Linton and only takes 20 minutes away so it’s perfect for a wee day or evening out in Edinburgh if you don’t want to stay in the city itself. '
