'Super friendly staff, right on the course, restaurant/bar and good breakfast. What else could you want?'

'Great historical venue, beautiful parkland. Good breakfast. Kind staff. Bedroom: bed too soft, scandalous ‘roll-down’ IKEA curtains that do not block the morning light. Bathroom rudimentary shower (max height 1.70m) with trickling water. '

'The hotel was well set up and modern. Breakfasts and dinners were excellent.'

'This is absolutely one of the best hotel stays I’ve had and I have travelled all over the world. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning and location is beautiful. The spa downstairs is nothing short of amazing . But absolutely the most amazing thing about this hotel is from the moment you arrive you feel like you’re staying with family. 'Great stay for a couple of nights, perfect location waking up next to cows each day! Walkable into Haddington. Kitchen head everything to cook breakfast and evening meal, including small oven and hobs'

'The rooms were spacious and well appointed. The restaurant was excellent.. but you need to make reservations as soon as you check in. The staff was very helpful and friendly.'

'Special place. Beach-view room is a must. Great breakfast.'

'Great location in a beautiful little town, very friendly staff (especially the lady on shift for breakfast), clean room. Would go again.'

'Great hotel, would stay again!'

'Exceptional history, plenty of snacks and food items left in room for breakfast, highly recommend staying here!'

'Self Serve Hotel (No staff on site for check in) Received a message day of arrival. Over all cheap and cheerful. Clean and cosy and did the job.'

'A cozy hotel with lovely beds and clean linen, that's the main thing. Nice that we could also eat here for a reasonable price. Room 2 has a view of the garden with Rowan trees and the church tower.'
