'A great find within 15/20 mins of North Berwick. Couldn't fault the room which had huge bathroom with roll top bath and walk in shower. Very comfortable stay. The menu in the pub is not extensive but everything we had was beautifully cooked and presented. The place was buzzing with locals and visitors on both nights we were there. Highly recommended'

'On average very good! The rooms are a bit on the older side but cozy nonetheless, the only thing that really needs to go is the carpet and the bed could do with some new matresses. Possibly because of this, reasonably affordable rooms in the city center could not be found at all. A room at this hotel was still the most affordable. Previous reviews were often quite negative.
