We arrived a little after 2 a.m. with our family and checked in through the office window. The check-in was not very welcoming. After getting to our room, I went to use the mini fridge to store milk for my child and was met with a strong rotten milk smell. The fridge had clearly spilled milk that was never cleaned and had no power at all. One of the main reasons I booked this room was for the mini fridge.
When I went downstairs to ask for a room change, the staff member laughed and insisted the fridge worked, even after I explained it had no power and I had already tried the switch. He continued laughing as if I didn’t know what I was talking about. Eventually, he agreed to switch our room and gave us a key for a downstairs room.
When we went to move our belongings, we found out the elevator did not work going down, so we had to make multiple trips down the stairs with all of our luggage, which was extremely frustrating.
The second room at least had working appliances, but it did not match the photos online at all. The room felt dirty and poorly maintained. The microwave barely worked and took much longer than normal to heat food. The bathroom door was falling apart and had to be handled very carefully.
Overall, the price and location were decent, but the room condition, misleading photos, and staff attitude were disappointing. Two stars is generous based on this experience.
