The apartment is VERY well-appointed and well-maintained. The furnishings are comfortable, serviceable, and high quality. With two bureaus, shelves, and closet spaces in the bedroom, there is PLENTY of room to unpack and store your clothes if you wish. The kitchen has modern tea kettle, coffee pot, dishwasher, and clean fridge, This helped us have quick, affordable breakfasts before we went out for the day. Also, it was helpful that there were two bathrooms in the apartment to get ready quickly in the evening in time for shows and dinner reservations. Really, the only drawback, for us, had to do with the fact that my mom is in a wheelchair, so some accessibility issues came up. Specifically, the apartment is located on the second floor (there is not lift) and the bedroom is on a different level than the rest of the rooms. In addition, the bathroom had a tub (as opposed to a walk-in shower. Thus, accessibility was a little challenging, but certainly possible. If there are no accessibility issues for anyone in your group, the apartment is fabulous. We also happened to stay during the four-day heat wave in London, so the apartment was a bit warmer than I think it would normally be. However, there were fans in the living room and bedroom, and they helped. For the price, and central location near great shopping, restaurants, and public transportation. It was a WONDERFUL space to come back to every evening after long days of sightseeing, dining, and entertainment.
