'Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here! A nice, straightforward, and easy 35 minute walk to the center of Inverness. We had 5 adults and 2 children (ages 4 and 2) and there was plenty of space for all of us. It got a bit toasty at times with no AC, but we made it work. The washer/dryer combo took a long time to wash and dry, and we could never figure out how to turn on the hot water to the bathtub (those things were probably on us), but overall was a clean and cozy stay; it was our favorite...

'We stayed at The Old Police House for a week (the first week of February) and thoroughly enjoyed it. The house was fully equipped, from towels to salt and pepper, everything was there. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. Sue, the owner, has truly thought of everything, even diapers for the little ones were provided. Toys, dog towels, food bowls for the dog, everything was available. The house is warm (both literally and figuratively), cozy, and the location is beautiful and...

'Gezellig, comfortabel huis, met heerlijke serre met een VIEW. Wandelingen om het huis mogelijk. Goede keuken, douche en openhaard. Bij problemen snelle respons en opgelost.'

'The Hen House was lovely! It really was pretty, comfortable and finished to an incredibly high standard. The estate is beautiful and we happened to stay during a midsummer fair, which was fantastic. The hot tub was in dire need of a deep chemical clean. The tubes connected to the fire were leaking bits of dirt. Also the check out time being 10am is quite early when it is self catering and you’ll also need to pack a car. Overall I would highly reccomend a stay here. '

'Welcomed by Keith who talked us through everything in relation to breakfast, our room etc. Everything was perfect. Hubby was happy as coffee machine in our room! Spacious, large en-suite with good shower. Loved the ‘hair straightener’ slate on the dressing table to ensure no burn marks left - I used that. Huge choice for breakfast. Lovely room to eat it in. The property is in a great position. Would definitely recommend & return. '
