INCLUDED WITH YOUR VACATION HOME: The property will be stocked with an initial supply of trash bags, paper towels, kitchen sponges, hand soap, dish soap, and toilet paper. The property is equipped with a specific quantity of bath and pool towels to accommodate the max occupancy of the home. The bathrooms are stocked with shampoo and conditioner. There are also fully equipped laundry rooms with a washer, dryer, and iron.
THE FOLLOWING IS NOT INCLUDED: cooking oil, sprays, foil, plastic wrap or other cooking ingredients.
Guests have access to Puerta Azul's amenities including the Olympic size swimming pools, tennis courts, and clubhouse (pool table, ping pong, gym, and more). There are two large swimming pools (shared) with jacuzzies in the community. Both are within walking distance (a few minutes) from the property. There is a small, 1-car garage that guests are welcome to use (larger vehicles may not fit) as well as unassigned spaces along the street.
We are minutes from PGA West with five public courses to choose from, as well as SilverRock Resort, an Arnold Palmer Classic Course, another terrific local option. In January, you can walk to the Stadium course to watch the pros play in The American Express Golf Tournament.
Tennis fans - in March, you'll be minutes away from the 5th largest tennis tournament in the world, the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, which draws the top-rated men and women tennis players in the world.
Tennis and pickleball players - the Fritz Burns park is 10 minutes away with 6 tennis courts and 8 pickleball courts lit and open from Dawn until 10 pm.
Coachella and Stagecoach Music Festivals are the main attractions in April, both taking place at the famous Empire Polo Grounds.
Close by is the famous El Paseo and Old Town La Quinta areas with excellent dining and shopping options.
Ralph's is the closest supermarket, about 10 minutes away, and Trader Joe's is also nearby. Highway 111 is the home to Costco, Target, Coffee Bean, and Starbucks, among many local favorite restaurants and shopping. Less than 15 minutes from the I-10, you can quickly head to Palm Springs, nearby casinos, Joshua Tree National Park, and other Coachella Valley destinations

- FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS - WHAT TIME IS CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT? Check-in time is 4 p.m. and check-out is at 10 a.m. Early check-in and late check-out may be available for your reservation.
WILL I NEED TO MEET THE PROPERTY MANAGER TO GET A KEY? Our homes are keyless entry, we issue a “code” rather than a physical key. The code changes for every reservation so it is an incredibly safe alternative. By issuing the code prior to arrival, the check-in process is much easier.
WHAT ARE THE POOL HOURS? ARE THEY HEATED? Puerta Azul community: The two community pools are heated year-round and are open 7 am – 11 pm. Homes with a private pool & jacuzzi can be heated for an additional fee. Check individual listing for info.
DO YOU ALLOW PETS? Certain non-shedding hypoallergenic dogs will be considered at an additional fee. Service animals are permitted, and the fee is waived for such situations (however the animal is never permitted to be in the unit alone if it is a service animal). Please note we do not allow any pets other than dogs.
SMOKING POLICY? Smoking is allowed in outdoor areas only. No smoking is permitted inside the home or near doors, windows, or any interior spaces. Please dispose of cigarette butts responsibly. Any smoking violations may result in additional fines, extra cleaning charges, and potential loss of security deposit.
Puerta Azul Community Rules: 1) The City of La Quinta & Puerta Azul has a quiet hour ordinance (10 pm – 8 am). 2) No more than 2 vehicles per home unit may be parked on the street at any time during the hours of 12 am – 7 am. 3) No trailer, camper, mobile home, commercial vehicle, truck (other than a standard-size pick-up truck), boat, or inoperable vehicle will be allowed in the community.
House Notes: During the hot summer nights, it's possible to encounter some gentle insects such as crickets, etc.. Rest assured, our property undergoes regular pest control treatments, though a few may still make an appearance. To ensure the upkeep of our surroundings, our diligent pool maintenance and landscaping team may visit the property during the week for service. Your comfort is importance, and we strive to create a seamless and enjoyable experience for your stay.
We've installed a security camera outside, facing the front entrance (placed on the door), to ensure safety during your stay. Additionally, there's a noise monitoring device in the living room to ensure compliance with local noise ordinances during quiet hours.

Great desert getaway
My family of 5 stayed in this beautiful condo during a tournament at the Empire Polo Grounds. Location was convenient, condo was spacious and clean, and beds were extremely comfortable. We loved the patio and the quietness of the gated community. Communication with the manager was very pleasant. Condo is highly recommended and we would definitely stay again. Community pools were a close walk and heated! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Great Experience
We stayed here for the weekend of Stagecoach. The location was very convenient to the Polo grounds. The property management team did a great job communicating with me prior to arrival and throughout our checkout process.
The home was very spacious and had all of the amenities we could have asked for. Overall, we could not have hoped for a better experience last weekend, and if we head back next year - we will look to see if this is available again!

Loved the home and the area.
Very nice home I was very surprised how updated it was considering it is a rental. The 3 tvs worked out great for us. Nice and comfortable really felt like home. Loved the community very quiet and relaxing, weather couldn't have been better. I already miss the swimming pool and hot tub. Plan to come again next year.

La Quinta getaway!
We enjoyed our stay. The home was well appointed, with comfortable furniture and beds, as well as nice bedding and towels, and TVs in the rooms. We had a problem with the door code when we first arrived but Michael and the property manager were very attentive and fixed the issue quickly. The community pool was close to the unit. It was not very busy and had a lovely setting. The home was a little further away from where we usually stay in Palm Desert and not within walking distance of stores, but it gave us a chance to explore a different area of La Quinta. We would definitely recommend and go back another time!

We booked the house for a Thanksgiving getaway. House was clean and comfortable and well laid out, 4 people and we never felt like we were on top of each other. Master bedroom large and quiet, even if we were booted out by an 8 year old. The property manager was easily accessible and helpful. We loved that there were 2 pools and 2 hot tubs to pick from and plenty of towels in the house. The community was very quiet, usually had the pool to ourselves. We spent a lot of our time in the back yard, private and good light. I recommend bringing all food items you would want, including coffee/sugar/pantry staples prior to arriving, not a deal breaker and there is a food store an easy drive away.

Simple Clean House, Sewer Line Malfunction
Overall had a great stay in Puerta Azul, except for a few days into our stay the sewer line backed up and water started flooding out of the toilets all over the bathroom/closet. Luckily the property manager found us a new place, but we weren't offered any compensation or apologies by the owner for the inconvenience. They also couldn't get a plumber out so we couldn't use the toilets overnight. Location is close to the horse park, pools are nice.

Perfect place for a short visit
We were looking for a place close to my sister's and this place didn't disappoint. It was perfect for our family of 5 adults with enough room for all of us to get ready or use as a quiet getaway from all the holiday family gatherings. The owner/property manager is very responsive, answered all of my emails and questions and they provided step by step information on anything you would need from gate/door security, garbage pickups, tv, wifi, etc. We would definitely stay here again! Location and complex perfect. Good facilities i.e. two swimming pools, hot tubs, great room for entertaining with large t.v., kitchen, table tennis, pool table, tennis courts. We really enjoyed the facilities. The unit itself was very comfortable for two couples. Couple of small items which were dealt with quickly by Michael.

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC VACATION
We had such a great vacation and it all begins with where you stay! Mike was so great to deal great communication....the suite was just as it is displayed in the picture but of course even better in person. I love how clean it smelt as soon as we arrived everything was clean and had all the basics we needed. The bed was so comfortable and the bedding was so comfy! The complex was absolutely gorgeous and well maintained. We picked this specific unit because it was dog friendly as we travelled 21 hrs in our vehicle bringing our beloved pet with us this complex was so great I really felt like I was at home I could bring my dog to the pool to lay beside me and that gorgeous amenity room. There was a few issues with previous tenants which is really sad and hard for people that really do appreciate such great owners that are willing to make your stay fantastic. This is such a Beautiful area to get up and walk around and we felt like we had the place to ourselves so quiet we will definitely return we had the most relaxing stay in such a gorgeous condo!!!

Very nice home. Quiet, clean, and up to date.
This home is in a very quiet development. The owner was very responsive to questions. The furnishings were in top notch shape and the home was clean and comfortable. The property has nice amenities such as a pool, tennis, and landscaped common areas. I will return to this property when in the area.

Best rental experience!
The home and neighborhood are beautiful. Comfortable for all 6 of us. The amenities kept the kids and adults having fun. We had a great time.

Beautiful Mediterranean Villa
We stayed at the house for a week, it's a beautiful, quiet neighborhood with stunning mountain views. Everything was as advertised, well equipped kitchen, very spacious open floor plan and a quaint patio to enjoy as well. We would love to stay here again next year. I recommend this property without hesitation.
