The interior is new, clean and modern and very cozy. It's weird, but it looks and feels bigger on the inside than the outside might tell you from the pictures. 'I cannot recommend this property enough! We visited for 8 days in late June/early July 2026, and the view from the wrap-around glass patio was breathtaking every single day, morning and evening. Because of the shape of the valley, we would routinely see completely different weather patterns West, North, and East. Maybe it was snowing on the mountain across the lake, raining at the property, and sunny out West... all at the same time!It's only a 25-30min drive West to Akranes to pick up groceries...
