Other interesting places to visit are, the active volcano Grábrók, the crater Eldborg, historical viking landmark Reykholt, and taking a walk into the glacier Langjökull. You can stroll through the nearby cozy town of Borgarnes and drop by the cafe’s, museums, shops and restaurants. Take a drive to the capital Reykjavík with all its glory, nightlife and culture. Make a day trip on the Golden Circle and see the exploding Geysir with all its natural power, and drop by the historic Thingvellir National Park, and view close up the beautiful Gullfoss waterfall. In the evenings you will always come back home to this cozy cottage in Brókarstígur and the first thing you might do is, relax in the hot tub with a glass of red wine and enjoy the Northern Lights in the peace and quietness after a memorable day.

The cabin was built in a traditional, Icelandic summerhouse way. It´s well constructed and insulated. It's warm and cozy all year-round with all necessities and comfort. The house has an open kitchen-living room area. In the kitchen is all tableware and equipment you need for cooking and baking and serving a lovely meal. The living room has a great corner sofa and a large flat screen TV and films to watch. The bedrooms are cozy and comfortable with great quality beds. Free WIFI.

A private guest house is right next to the main house, it has a private entrance, a large bedroom, TV, and a full bathroom with a shower. The guest house sleeps four people and has free WIFI.

On the large terrace is a nice hot tub that fits up to 6 people, barbecue grill and comfortable outdoor seating. The terrace is perfect for making a good meal and relaxing in the peaceful environment. Beside the house is a grass lawn which is surrounded by nature, ideal for kids to play.
