The interior is new, clean and modern and very cozy. It's weird, but it looks and feels bigger on the inside than the outside might tell you from the pictures. 'We had a total of 12 people in our group and this property setup was perfect. People ages 8 months to 65 years. Location was great for exploring Snaefellness but not too far away from Reykjavik to discourage golden circle activities. Road is pretty easy to find, don’t need 4x4 but take it slow. Need cell phone access for getting to the property. We got to see northern lights while there so that was nice. Absolutely recommend staying here'

'Beautiful house! Clean and had everything we needed. Hosts were so nice with great communication…helped a lost cat that showed up find its owner…we LOVE cats..so this was so nice that they also love cats and helped reunite the lost cat with its family. Saw the northern lights all four nights. Great location…would definitely stay again!!'

'This house and the area are beautiful. We stayed here for 3 nights and two evenings we saw the northern lights from the hot tub. The house is very luxurious and everything is there (also a lot of towels). Top! The Snæfellsjökull National Park is not far and is beautiful to visit. The Golden Circle is also easy to do from here. We really enjoyed everything. The communication with the owner of the house went perfectly and everything was clearly explained. We definitely recommend this house.'

'This Lodge / hotel is realy FANTASTIC ! The owner and her staaf are so unknown friendly and helpfull. The dinner menu is great and the food is superior. I stayed for several days (Cabin 3) and it was outstanding !'
