Campings en stacaravans in Texada Island

'We have a wonderful week here. Highly recommended. perfect timing because the sandcastle weekend was on Texada island, with fun activities. The cottage is beautifully situated on the bay and is well taken care of. we have walked, swam, canoeed, fished a lot of wildlife (deer, osprey, otters, seals, etc.) and as icing on the cake (dutch saying :)) we saw orcas in the bay the last evening. 'We werden vriendelijk ontvangen door de eigenaar. Eerder hadden we al bagage achter gelaten, omdat we 3 dagen gingen wandelen langs de Sunshine Coast Trail. Dit was geen enkel probleem. De Inn is heel gezellig ingericht met veel antiek/curiosa. Het ontbijt was prima!'

'Fine hotel although the rooms do not really look like the fotos. And the cleaning staff enjoys loud music……'

'The rooms were very nice, modern and clean. These are suites and not a regular hotel.'

'Staff were helpful but we had some confusion after at checkout when they texted me that the key is not returned and they found it and apologized. The rooms are not bad but each room is slightly different. We had three rooms and one of them had issue sin lighting so quite dark. A/C is quite loud and blows directly to one of the beds, so you should either freeze or turn it off and tolerate the heat. Tried to let the windows open but the screens where not fit and there was a crack that allows...

'Een motel met een uistekende ligging in hartje Powell River met een prima prijs-kwaliteitverhouding. Kamers zijn deels vernieuwd (bedden, airco), deels wat verouderd (meubilair, kitchenette). Maar alles werkt goed. Motel is rustig en ligt prachtig op heuvel met zicht over de baai (mét orka's!) en met mooie zonsondergangen. De eigenaresse is supervriendelijk en heel servicegericht, ze zwaait liefst elke gast persoonlijk uit.'

'Room was clean, lobby and hallways were clean. Staff was accommodating. The issue we found was the parking.'

'The rooms are noisy and thus this is not worth the money they charge for it. The view is nice and the rooms are decent but you can hear every sound the neighbours make…….'
