'Mark did a wonderful job helping us to get settled. The lift room was charming and truly unique. Our own private Japanese hot soaker tub was a blissful addition. The local hiking trails and scenery were wonderful. Boyle’s provincial park and Helliwell park on nearby Hornby island are absolute must visits.'

'This is the second time we stayed at Manna house, the other being in the summer and it was another wonderful stay. Both stays were lovely, our favourite however was our winter stay as there was a real feeling of coziness as the snow was on the ground as we looked over the water from the cedar hot tub. We are looking forward to returning soon :)'

'Thank you Doug and family...your cabin and the entire property was amazing! 'Tannis and Hans are charming hosts who made our visit special and personal. Our room was sweetly decorated and, importantly, had a very comfortable queen bed. Hans prepared delicious breakfasts each of our two mornings, over which we had fun and interesting conversation. After breakfast check out the charming pond-side village created by Hans. As an extra convenience, the couple was kind enough to let us charge our EV in the carport. '

'Cozy, rustic little cabin - a little small for 6 mature adults - only 4 chairs for dining. Great location but hard to find in the dark. The outhouse and woodstove came in handy when the power was out. We had a great time tho'!'

'Everything was great except for the cleanliness of the room. There was a smell in one of the corners right beside the bed. There was thick dust on top of the headboard. There were brown stains on the bathroom door. The amenities were great. Love the coffee machine in the optimism lounge & the water dispenser. 'The b and b is more like an air b and b. No meals prepared bu supplies were there for breakfast. The bed was a double and I would have preferred as queen. The bed was quite firm also. 'Our scheduling was challenging with the check in and office hours but when we arrived early, we were accommodated immediately. We locked ourselves out of our room and were again assisted immediately. Staff was very helpful and kind. Parking and the elevator made our coming and going easy. 'Very clean and well decorated. Owner works very hard to provide a nice place to stay. However, the way the property is portrayed on the web site, we expected an ocean fronting unit with access to the shore from the door of the unit. That is not accurate. It is down the driveway, across the main road of the island and 7 - 10 min walk (for us) to a rocky (but very nice) beach. The owner has done a nice job with the unit, small hot tub in small private deck and the sauna across the street and down...
