Particuliere vakantiehuizen in Texada Island

'An absolutely 10 for a retreat rental. Very private despite the owners occupying the top floor of this three-story building. The rental is for the entire second floor with private entrance, and a wrap around veranda with outdoor furniture, and a beautiful view of of the bay (Pender Harbour.) It also has a propane fire pit for those cool nights. Owners Michelle and Dave are wonderful hosts. Dave’s cinnamon buns are a must try. I suggest to order them upon check-in. Dave will have them ready...

'Such a gem of a spot. We will be back for sure. Great kitchen and very comfortable for our group. Loved all the amenities and felt very private'

'Tom was very friendly and helpful. The suite was spacious. The beds were comfortable. Beautiful view of the garden, orchard, pond, and mountains. Very peaceful and relaxing.'

'Ocean front retreat was a wonderful memory for us to stay. Enjoyed every corner of the vacation home. The hot tube was easy to access, a lot of mosquitoes around 9pm, if you can, book a bit early. Sunset on the beach was beautiful. The curtain fail off on the 2 rd day when we are cooking, reported to landlord, she was easy to communicate with. Highly recommend.'

'Thank you so much for hosting us at your beautiful property. We were so comfortable and felt right at home.We hope to book again.'

'The place was clean, spacious, and attractive. The third “bedroom” was a pullout bed in the living room rather than a separate room.'

'The host was pleasant. The location of the property was ok, the view was excellent. But, the property was misrepresented and was not a “luxury private villa “, instead it was a basement suite in a shared home. Unfortunately, the property inside and outside was poorly maintained. The black mold, pink mold, grease, hair, dust bunnies, and finger prints on windows and appliances was unhealthy. Lack of mattress covers, top sheets, fitted sheets was disappointing. Definitely not worth the money and...

'This was a beautiful place to stay. Made even more fun by constant bunnies and deer on the property. Photos represent the suite nicely. Our only problem with our stay was that the hosts had construction on the property starting on our 1st day. This caused the suite to lose internet. Communication to try and resolve the issue was always initiated by us and spanned over the next 3 days, this resulted in many unread texts and long spans of no communication from the host. When the problem was not...

'Everything was excellent for our stay. The kitchen and bathroom were very well stocked (more than other VRBO places we’ve stayed) and it was nicely organized for easy use. We appreciated the Smart TV and living room space. There was a variety of books and board games along with access to many streaming networks on the TV. The covered deck area was perfect for a quiet morning or evening hangout space. All the appliances and beds seemed to be in basically new condition. We would highly recommend...

'This was a lovely room with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. The location is great! Quiet and off the beaten path with 2 water accesses steps away. 3 minute drive from town. The bed was super comfy, and the jacuzzi tub was nice. The only downside was the pitter patter of the super cute toddler on the ceiling fairly early in the morning. They clearly indicate they have a little one, but it's not.conducive to sleepung in lol. Only suggestions for...

'It's a clean well supplied kitchenette suite, with a small private hot tub and parking beside the door. Exactly as described in the ad, and just what we needed. Great communication by the host.'

'Clean rooms and hot tub bonus - was great'

'The room was everything we needed. Personal touches. We loved the coffee. For a place right off the highway, it was quite peaceful. We watched the sheep and a deer that ambled by.'

'The place is very new, modern and clean.'

'Exceptional host , great communication , very clean , brand new BbQ, quiet and peaceful , huge pantry and selection of dishes , beautiful bath thub with beautiful view . Only thing I would suggest the host to adjust the hot tub setting so it’s easier to access and manage . I’d rate this place a 4.8/5 overall 😊'

'I booked this for myself and it was a very confusing checkin process. I got in at dark and the instructions did not match where to park and the house was totally dark. I had to knock on the front door and she was lovely but there should be better lighting for people walking down the dark path at night. The room was cold and took ages to warm up. It is also connected to another suite and the bathroom at first felt like it may be shared with other people down there? But it wasn’t. You just have to...
