'Very cozy weekend in this cabin with character and charm. The host was very helpful with check-in and supportive throughout the stay. Everything worked, no issues.'

'What a beautiful spot — both the well designed cabin and location on shark reef. The little beach was great for a cold dip. The deck was perfect for dinner and sunset cocktails. We saw whales twice cruising up San Juan channel. The cabin has everything you need and was so comfortable. Very relaxing spot. We will be back. '

'Cottage was as described except the bushes in the back yard have grown so the lawn is in the shade most of the day and you can only see the small part of the lagoon shown in the photo unless you walk down to the gate that says private property (to nextdoor), from where you can see the rest of the lagoon and the toilet blocks next to the ramp that the Sea Quest bioluminescence kayakers launch from. Yard was too cool to sit out in in the evenings in mid July, as no fires allowed, but the location...

'The stay was great once the miscummunication of HOA regulations, at this location, were straightened out. It was not stated explicitly enough that there was "no smoking" inside as well as outside on property until booked and paid for. Also, no mention of no AC, for some this could be a health issue.Final mention, is the owner of the property was very easy to work with and would give a recommendation for this property.'

'John & Mary are fantastic hosts. Highly responsive, good communication, clean cabin with clear instructions on the details of the stay/amenities. '

'We stayed at the little yellow lake house while attending festivities for our son’s wedding near by. It was a perfect setting for us and out of town family staying with us. A beautiful, peaceful setting for a break between activities. We enjoyed using the kayaks and sitting and watching birds and seeing turtles in the lake. Our dog enjoyed romping around the lake side.'

'The location gives easy access for lovely bike rides on the Skagit flats. Deer in the yard, but no lake access.Fairhaven and Bellingham are also close. Kitchen is well equipped but no microwave. Unit would also benefit from a reading lamp. We used it as a base for a lovely active vacation. '

"Ruime kaner, badkamer verouderd en klein, lamp in badkamer maakt erg veel lawaai in combinatie met airco. Kan he niet afzonderlijk aanzetten . Wij gebruikten daarom verlichting van de heater in de badkamer. Handdoeken rek zit op onlogische plek stoot je steeds tegenaan. Bed staat op wieltjes dus bij beweging gaat hij verplaatsen. Kamer ruikt overdreven naar schoonmaak middel Onder bedden wordt niet schoongemaakt Hotel doet Nederlands voorkomen met naam Holland Inn en molens en tulpen maar niemand spreekt of kent Nederland. Ligt aan een drukke doorgaande weg, nachts geen last van ochtends hoor je wel veel verkeer. Ontbijt is basic maar goed verzorgd "
