'The lodge was located in a unique place, secluded in a woody area with a lovely garden. It has a large deck creating possibilities for a lovely morning breakfast, reading a book, enjoying the view of the garden or a long dinner in the evening (Summer time of course)'

'We had an amazing week at the Guest House! The house had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Air conditioning, gas fireplace, washer and dryer, big kitchen - everything was great and thoughtfully laid out. Janis and Martin are excellent hosts and told us to let them know if we needed anything. Their dock was well equipped as well with comfortable chairs, tables, umbrellas, etc. Swimming off the dock in crystal clear water was a highlight. Use of the canoe to paddle over to Fossli...

'This is a formerly rustic but now beautifully renovated cottage on a dock overlooking Cowichan Bay. We were two couples and loved our stay in this remarkable time-passed-us-by neighbourhood. The only two issues were a double bed in the 2nd bedroom rather than the advertised queen and a door key pad that was hard to relock, seemingly an alignment problem.Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed this space and served up a great meal in the kitchen. We were sorry to not have put the clean dishes away...

'We had a fabulous time at Rathtrevor Cottage! My Mom (who's in her 80's), my son who is a teenager and my husband and I felt like we could relax and enjoy a nice couple of days as soon as we entered the air conditioned cottage. It was clean, it had everything that we needed and the access to the beach, pool and amenities were perfect. Judy was easy to keep in touch with and followed-up regularly to make sure we were enjoying our stay, which we really appreciated. Thanks so much for a lovely...

'My friend and I, plus two small dogs, stayed 6 nights here and had the most wonderful vacation!HOST: Judy gets ten out of ten for being friendly and very attentive, but professional enough not to be intrusive. Had she not told us about Parksville's Tuesday evening market, we would have missed out on a fun experience.COTTAGE: We have never stayed anywhere so perfectly provisioned with all you could possibly need.
