B&B in Hudson Valley

'If you want a quiet, historical experience, then this is the venue. It's not new, shiny - but that is not why you go there. It is a beautiful Tudor-style hotel, with old fixtures, antique windows, and the charm of a storybook castle. The innkeeper is lovely and the grounds are beautiful. We missed peak colors by a week or two and are considering a quick trip back! Buffet breakfast was just right.'

'Our stay at the Cromwell Manor Inn was excellent from start to finish. As we were parking, the innkeeper came out to help us with our bags. After we checked in we were given a tour of the inn. 'I cant say enough positive things when it comes to the Meadowood Inn. Our hostess was informative, friendly, and cooked us up a gourmet breakfast each morning to get us on our way. The Inn itself was truly charming and we were excited to learn about the history of the house. I have stayed at a good amount of B&B's, and the cleanliness at the Inn was above excellent, spotless! 'Agnes was an amazing host! Our stay was incredibly smooth and convenient. The drive to Hunter Mountain was just a short 15 minutes, making it so easy to get there. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, and it was a special touch knowing the eggs were from their own farmed chickens. When it was time to check out, they went above and beyond by helping us clear the snow off our car! We had such a great experience and will definitely be coming back for another visit!'
