Blokhutten in Hoeilaart

'One night stay as close to train station and we needed to be in Brussels early the next day. Hosts were amazing, spoke excellent English and extremely helpful. Left us access to breakfast as we were up early. Room very clean and comfortable, with direct access to garden. Set in a beautiful location, but close to main road arteries. Would have liked to stay longer to explore the local walking routes. Excellent for cyclists too.'

'Le personnel est très aimable. Merci!'

'I have been going to this hotel for the past 8 years. It is sad to see that it has not been maintained at all. The carpets need upgrading, the rooms need new paint, the washrooms have rusted mirrors, and the cabinets are all chipped. This is no longer a 5-star hotel. Also, the lovely breakfast buffet now has these horrible machines that do coffee and sludge water for tea, forcing the client to get their coffee/tea but delivering badly tasting water and coffee. Why would you place two of those...

'personnel was extremely friendly and efficient, although I wish they would speak more languages. The rooms were excellent, although the air conditioning was very noisy. The rooms were clean, although the tiles in the bathroom were turning yellow and they clearly needed a deeper cleaning.'

'- Beetje kleine kamer en badkamer als standaard. - Hoewel hoog in blok toch veel straatlawaai. (raamisolatie) - Tuin is nu niet echt wauw. + Mooi en gezellig interieur hal en lounge. + Degelijk ontbijt + Voldoende liften en snel + Professioneel vriendelijk personeel. + mogelijkheid om bagage even te stockeren.'
