'Our stay at the Marriott was unfortunately a very disappointing experience. Considering the price charged, the rooms and amenities were well below expectations and offered poor value for money. The most disturbing issue was the hygiene of the room. It was infested with small cockroaches crawling on the walls, bed and bathroom floors. We immediately reported this to the hotel management, who assured us that pest control treatment would be carried out the following day. However, no action was...

'So many large bugs inside the studio'

'Heavily overpriced for the quality you get (on food and beverages). Also paying for beach chairs etc. Hotel is nice and we enjoyed the installation but food and beverages were very basic while all charged on premium rates. Also very high fees to rent beach equipment which in my point of view is outrageous. We have much better experiences in Hawaii concerning that so definitively something to improve. No problem to pay a price but you expect something in return which we didn't feel at all. '

'Jill was a wonderful host. The rental was perfect for the first few nights of our honeymoon. 'We stayed for 5 nights in this very nice condo and had a great time. It was very clean, had a well equipped kitchen and a good bed. It is a great place as a fall out for visiting the island. We would definately recommend this place! Maybe one tiny remark; when we booked on VRBO it wasn't quite clear that 1 of the beds is a sofabed. Thank you for letting us stay in your nice condo.'

'We enjoy the North Shore but it can be difficult to find a rental near the town of Haleiwa. So I started looking at rentals within the Turtle Bay complex to be near a cluster of amenities without driving far for every meal or beach visit. The condos just outside the resort were a great solution, keeping us within walking distance of the beach and restaurants. This condo is situated on, I believe, Hole 1 of the Fazio golf course. It is currently closed for work so people would go for morning...

'Management was available to help us locating the unit after a prolonged travel day (it was late at night). The unit was just as described. One pool was just a few steps away from the building. The golf course was behind the unit and had a nice walking path. It was a great location and allowed for us to explore the North Shore. Would recommend booking with Helena and her team!!'

'This unit was perfect for our family of 4. We loved the location right on the golf course so the kids could run around on the lawn while we sat on the screened lanai and had a drink. Also a super quick walk to the resort and beach for sunset!Everything in the unit was updated and very clean, and loved that the pull out couch was already made with sheets and a blanket as soon as we pulled it out. We would definitely stay here again.'

'It was convenient and we preferred staying here over the rooms at turtle bay. You get access to the amenities, a washer and dryer, and a shower which we preferred over the resorts shower. The reason I gave this a 3 was'

'An excellent experience with this rental property. The location was outstanding! All details in the property description were accurate and complete. We are already planning to come back to stay again!The view from the 2nd floor balcony was perfect for beach viewing and sunrise in early August. It was nice having access to amenities at the beach connected to the Ritz-Carlton property. Easy drive to Laie in one direction and Haleiwa in the other.'
