'The Fairmont is likely as good of a “Resort” property as one could find. I am not a fan of Resorts, But when in Hawaii it is difficult to not stay in one. Fairmont is well presented, certainly not a value proposition, but nicely done. Good food, Bars, Pool, etc. shower in the bathtub was far better than the separate shower. Facility does need some paint and refreshing. Grounds and Location are beautiful. I like Fairmont Hotels and they are a brand I seek out, when traveling.'

'Our 1st evening, we had some problems with getting food. The poolside restaurant had to close early and the bar restaurant ran out of pizza. I’m sure it was an unusual problem, but we didn’t have dinner that night coming in from a long travel day from Texas. All other meals were great, especially breakfast buffet which was outstanding.'

'We rented a unit on the second floor of building E. It had a large, well-furnished balcony with a fabulous view of the sunset each evening. The location was great and included a designated covered parking space. Access to the exclusive Mauna Lani Beach Club was a huge perk. The shops at Mauna Lani were a 2-min drive away and there was a shop in that location to rent snorkel gear. This area of the island was perfect for a relaxing stay for our family of four. 'We have spent almost a week at this beautiful house and we couldn't be happier with the experience. We are a family of 4 adults and loved the fact that there was enough room for us to gather but also to relax. The house is in a great location, the pool is one minute walking distance from the house and it is gorgeous, as well as the hot tub. What we enjoyed the most was the fact that the house is extremely well equipped. We enjoyed the bicycles and the beach equipment, especially the boogie...
