At the time we stayed there was no internet or television but seriously, you won't miss those. When you drive in you're not just pulling up from the road into a driveway, you're driving onto a small resort - through a gate that's well off the main road, past what looked like a boat house, around a roundabout, past a pole shed (game house), through a larger parking lot into the smaller...

'Great views of the James River. Property had everything we needed. Located near all the attractions we wanted to see. Weather was great the first couple of days. We saw eagles near the property. Used the ferry to travel back and forth to the tourist areas. Interesting. Overall, an enjoyable and relaxing stay. '

'It was a beautiful home with lots of space and outstanding views. We could watch the tide come in and the ducks and vultures - who are very entertaining! Everything was very clean. I was disappointed that the gas fireplace didn’t work, but we were so tired when coming back from Williamsburg that we hardly noticed! We will be back! Thank you for everything!'
