« Very nice place to stay at this historical property. The facility seems to still be in the developmental stages as there are staff shortages and the grounds are not well-kept. I look forward to a finished product! Though pricey, the rooms are outstanding and the room amenities are very good. »

« While the place is an old motel the owners have done a great job of updating the inside with high end sink bowls and ceramic showers. The continental breakfast always included biscuits and gravy as well as waffles and other options. The staff went out of their way to welcome us and answer any questions. »

« Very clean, and smelled wonderful. Only reason for Four instead of Five is no place to sit in the room, except the bed. There’s room for one. Overall I’d recommend it. »

« The house is larger than it appears in the photos and has everything you would need. We were in town for our daughter's wedding and we filled the house with the Bridal party and our family. There is soo much character everywhere in the house. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were large, the kitchen had every amenity I could ask for. « Very nice facility. I would have liked a television in each bedroom, and ceiling fans vs chandeliers. Shower curtain and tub mat in upstairs bathroom need a good cleaning. Overall, we truly enjoy our stay. A bunch ofsenoirs! »

« No pillowcases on the bed. Bathroom was dirty, I went to Walmart and bought cleaning products, dirty washcloths were in the hallway and at the bottom entrance of the steps. There was also shooting outside in the parking lot as well as men arguing and tusseling in the parking lot at midnight. Police were called. »

« Room 101 beds were clunky, and noisy, making godawful sounds. Bathroom fan is going to burn up a bearing as it makes a horrible screeching noise. You have part of a coffee maker in there but no pot and no coffee. We learned from last time we stayed here to bring our own K cup maker. »

« Bel hôtel, belle chambre lit confortable,, petit frigo pratique. Endroit très calme à 5 min en voiture de la belle Historic Main street. 10 min à aller a la High Bridge Trail mais 20 min au retour en vélo car il y a une très grosse côte à monter!! On est au centre de la Trail on a fait la moitié aller/retour une journée et l’autre moitié le lendemain. »

« Michael was an excellent host. Property was clean and equipped as promised. Complete with Keurig and K-cups! Very quiet community, close to the places that we needed to go. High Bridge Trail is nearby, Three Rivers Brewery in Farmville. Nice selection of local houses of worship in the area. Would definitely recommend »
