At check-when I was told that our rooms were not together. 'The downstairs is a bar at night, keep that in mind if on a family trip. If staying on the back side of the hotel the bar smoking area is on that side, and the conversation noise can be a problem.'

'Our stay was a deluxe cabin. Check in was easy and is all online. There isn’t an office or staff on site. The grounds are peaceful and each unit has its own little spot. The cabin was in great condition, was very clean, and had everything we needed, including some kitchen amenities that made the room more enjoyable. 'Fine hotel, with good breakfast, excellent beds and clean facilities. Only weird thing was that we had to pay a deposit (first time in Texas ever!). Uppon asking when the deposit would be cleared from my card, the clerk told me that it would be at 11:00am. Now 24 hours later, it’s still not cleared..'
