'De vloerbedekking zat onder de vlekken, het muurtje bij de wasbak was niet helemaal afgewerkt, de kitranden van de douche waren beschimmeld. Maar het personeel was erg behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Het ontbijt was goed, je kon kiezen uit klassiek Brits ontbijt met bonen in tomatensaus/bacon en worstjes of brood en diverse soorten beleg. Tevens ook nog porridge en yoghurt was er te kiezen. Er was ook mogelijkheid tot dineren in het hotel, wel met een kleine kaart aan mogelijkheden.'

'We really enjoyed our stay. It was refreshing staying in an independently run hotel as we often stay at chain hotels. The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming- nothing was too much trouble. The room was nice and the breakfast was really good. The pool and spa facilities were a really nice feature. The only niggle was that there was no air conditioning in the room. It was so warm, despite having a desk top fan, that we found it difficult to sleep. Overall, a great hotel at a reasonable...
