'Lovely stay'

'Hotel was in a great location for the Fringe festival and shopping. The breakfast buffet was great and parking was additional but close. Issue we had was the TV volume was manual as the remote didn't work. '

'Very friendly and helpful staff. I stayed in 2 different rooms - one was a bit tired and had a safety lock broken (so I requested a room change) the other one more modern. Staff was very helpful in accomodating the room change. Unfortunately there was quite a bit of noise from outside (hotel is an an area with a lot of nightlife around). Breakfast food was adequate. Fresh fruits, cereal, yoghurt and good hot buffet but limited pastry selection. Ambiance of bar and breakfast area lackluster.'

'Nice location but I like a hot shower in the morning and this they did not provide. after five minutes or so it got to warm, it never got hot, and that was running the hot water tap only.'

'1. Parking is a 10 minute walk away. 2. The rooms won’t be cleaned unless you request it. 3. The restaurant is really non existent- menu more bar food. 4. In fact our suite on the 11th floor was nice, but we had to waylay the housekeeping staff to get a clean set of towels, milk and after 4 nights, change the bed. All in all won’t choose Tryp on any of our future trips. Needs improvement. '

'Op loopafstand van openbaar vervoer en heel veel toeristische plekken op loopafstand. Vriendelijk personeel, kamers waren ruim maar wel donker omdat ramen klein waren. '

'While the hotel is in the process of being refurbished, which did not extend to our room, which was tired and dated. The ground floor area blocked off for refurbishment affected ground floor access for 2 of the 4 lifts. The advice was provided inside the affected lifts which meant people couldn't know until after entering the lift! The buffet breakfast was not up to the standard expected for a Hilton hotel, especially with the hot food which wasn't! Service levels need to improve. '
