« This was an amazing stay. Renee is a great host. She is clean, personable, and professional. The home is very cozy, and while still a work in progress, the outdoor area is beautiful and teeming with potential. This is not a hotel or a motel, understanding this, do not expect the starchy atmosphere of those places, but instead appreciate the friendly, homely vibe. If you’re looking for somewhere reasonably priced, clean, and cozy, this is a great spot. »

« It was a great stay. It was our first time staying at a Bed and Breakfast and will certainly not be our last now with such a great experience we had at the House of 1833. Evan was an exceptional host/chef. He gave us a tour of the home and the history. The breakfast in the morning was incredible from the homemade apple cranberry muffin to the Greek Italian Mac & Cheese Spinach Souffle. We would highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a quiet, yet close to town place to stay. »

« We were in the area visiting our son, and the Inn was very convenient. The room was very comfortable, and Rebecca was very accommodating and an amazing host. If we are ever back in the area, we will definitely stay again. »

« Everything was excellent with our stay from the spacious room with a jacuzzi, to the excellent breakfast, and the excellent hosts. We will be staying here again in the Future. »

« The host was nice, helpful and easy to communicate with. Our room had an assigned bathroom, it wasn’t in the room, but just down the hall. That worked fine for us. We needed a clean, reasonably priced place for an overnight stay on our road trip and this ticked all the boxes. »

"L’hôtel est très confortable et bien localisé just à côté du old Mystic village. La piscine un peu petite et pas très propre mais peut-être aussi parce qu’il y avait beaucoup de monde. Le petit déjeuner, décevant car peu de choix mais le yaourt frais très original !"
