'We loved staying at the Nicolas. The room was so cozy and comfortable and the lobby was equipped with seltzer and snacks. Great location but off the main drag so the hotel was very quiet. '

'Our stay at the Regatta Inn was absolutely wonderful! The room was lovely and had a beautiful view of the water – the sunset was just breathtaking. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. We could easily borrow beach chairs and towels, and there were always some cookies and fruit-infused water available. A perfect spot for a relaxing stay on Folly Beach!'

'The room was booked through VRBO in Expedia and therefore I did not engage with staff other then when I tried to check in and they notified me it was through VRBO. VRBO host was good and provided clear directives once I contacted them. The hotel had many standard features such as indoor and outdoor pools, but the indoor pools "looked" dirty. Considering it is on the beach, this is the best feature. and all outdoor pools and lounge areas were clean... but I wish the had the food and rink kiosks...

'Air conditioning not working 3/5 -upside- fun and great views, breakfast was yummy, cookies wonderful, fun happy hour with fun wine. I loved the ride/beach chairs/umbrella. Loved that the balcony was screened in to keep out the bugs. Downfall- The AC was out down stairs and all that was said was “AC is out downstairs…sorry” on a sign on the front desk. You could hear everything in the halls from your room. Room had a room air conditioner it was just ok cooling room to sleep. Over all enjoyed my...
