'The Falcon is a classic English inn with much charm in a picture postcard village. While old, the facilities have been fully refurbished up to modern standards so that the rooms are most comfortable incl the ensuite. The staff is very kind and helpful'

'Clean rooms, pleasant and very helpful staff, and amenities exactly as described. The location is very convenient, very close to the train station and city center, with easy bus connections. Breakfast is available as an additional package and is well prepared and satisfying.'

'We had a lovely stay, the room was beautifully decorated. Check-in staff were kind and the process was fast. The room itself had everything you might need with lush toiletries. Only minor downside was the water temperature and pressure, it took forever to heat up and didn't reach a temperature which I would like but that is of course personal. Breakfast was delicious and there were a lot of options. All in all can only reccommend. '

'Very clean. Nice bedroom. Staff friendly and helpful. Easy car parking. I love the independence of being able to bring food and use the communal fridge and microwave in the kitchen area, together with having a kettle for tea and coffee in the bedroom. '

'We have stayed here four or five times now and always such a nice base to visit family close by. Always a warm welcome and great breakfast to start the day. Warm room and comfortable bed. Shared bathroom is kept very clean. Free parking is a bonus.'

'I stayed here with my mum for 2 nights to be near my brother. The host was so lovely and helpful. Big thank you. We had a great stay in the apartment and would definitely stay here again. It was perfect. My mum is 83 and could come through the main entrance. No need to use the fire escape stairs. The parking entrance is opposite the shop Lords hardware shop. Only saying that as there’s lots of options and even my satnav got confused!! Bonus that there were community fire works whilst we stayed...

'voor ons was dit de uitvalbasis voor de olympische spelen. het station was 1. km van het hotel prima te doen per voet en de route was langs winkels. mooi park voor het hotel zelf nog een hert gezien. en toch midden in een stadje.hotel was prima niets mee.'

'Was een klein, rustig en net hotel. Wij hadden een kamer op de begane grond, moesten een stukje door de tuin/patio wat erg leuk was. De staat van de kamer was netjes, modern en schoon. Handdoeken werden verschoond als ze op de grond lagen, dus elke dag kregen we schone handdoeken. De medewerkers van het hotel waren erg vriendelijk, zowel bij het inchecken, uitchecken, maar ook wanneer we het hotel verlieten voor een dagje Londen. Het hotel was te bereiken met een bus, die voor de deur stopte,...

'I was severely disappointed, mainly by the room. The "double bed" I shared with my platonic friend was 120x190cm, and even that barely fit in the room. The springs in the tiny bed were so strong that even my friend's smallest movement made me jump up awake. There were no bedlights or nightstands, the cupboard wouldn't close, there was no space to sit at the useless desk, we had to shut off the light in the dark and then find our way to the bed. The bathroom was even worse: disgusting taps, mold...
