'Excellent value for money , room was large, large comfy bed with TV and sofa. Mini kitchen with kettle,sink,hob,microwave and fridge. En suite bath with shower. Towels provided.I only booked for the one night but would have happily stayed a week. Yes there was the odd hair and a bit of dust in places but on the whole it was clean. Its a bit dated but wouldn't expect anything less being an old building. I'd definitely be booking again.'

'Limited distance to the beach and pier was the reason of selection. With this in mind it is great value for money. People were friendly, but reception is not always present as this is a B&B. Lack of breakfast room was compensated with roomservice for a small extra. Well worth the money. Room was very small but clean and toilet in the hall was in line with the price.'

'Nice hotel. We stayed in the spacious family room in the ‘souterrain’. Only the bed matrasses were a bit firm. And the room was right under the breakfast room. Somewhat noisy. Overall lovely stay only a couple of meters from the boulevard and 5min to the Pier'

'Zo gastvrij, zo vriendelijk, zo'n heerlijk ontbijt en vlakbij de pier. Het is een uitstekende keuze als je een paar dagen in Brighton wil verblijven. Onze kamer was klein maar het ontbrak ons aan niets!'

'Very good, the only thing was the size of my room. I had a single room and it was OK for one night, because I had only a small bag with me. But if you have a suitcase or a big bag, there is no space in the single room. But the rest was very good.'

'We had a blast to stay at Colson House. Great place to stay if you are visiting Brighton. Everything you want is by walk distance. Accommodation is clean and comfortable. We will definitely come back if we ever visit Brighton again. '

'Kamer niet groot maar comfortabel en mooi ingericht. Ondanks afwezigheid personeel voelde ontvangst persoonlijk door goede informatie en communicatie. Ontbijt origineel. '

'Vriendelijk onthaal in deze goedelegen b&b. Op 5 min stappen van het centrum langs een straat vol cafeetjes, restaurantjes en winkeltjes. Het ontbijt is in orde (maar elke dag zelfde keuze). De kamers hebben alles wat je nodig hebt (inclusief gratis instant koffie / thee / chocomelk) maar verwacht geen grote luxe, zeker wel in orde. Kleine badkamer met douche die een wat gebricoleerde indruk geeft. Warmwaterapparaat oogt vreemd, maar werkt voortreffelijk (steeds ideaal te regelen...

'Lovely room, bed was v comfortable. Small heater which worked well as room & bathroom were v cold when I arrived. Only complaint I have is that the keypads for the front door & the room doors are v loud, & woke me up during the night when people were coming & going in the early hours. Lots of noisy guests but that's no reflection on the hotel itself. Would stay again but would love it if those keypads weren't so noisy!'

'We moesten drie trappen omhoog met al onze koffers, hulp werd niet aangeboden. Het was loeiheet dus we kwamen zwetend boven. Mijn vriend van 1.90m heeft zijn hoofd zó vaak gestoten, alle plafonds waren super laag. De badkamer was zo klein dat ik gewoon niet eens een plek voor mijn toilettas kon vinden. En het bed was klein en hard. Parkeren voor de deur was onmogelijk, we stonden 5 straten verderop. '

'B&B is located in a quiet neigherhood at a brisk walk from Brighton. Rooms are tidy and breakfast is really a treat. Various pieces of art are scattered in the secluded garden.'

'Great place in an excellent location. Modern and clean with very friendly staff. Shame about the road works with their early morning starts and the 6.30 Sunday morning bin lorry - not the hotels fault. '
