  • Gezellig, schoon, bijgewerkt huis gelegen in de stad Bar Harbor, op 5 minuten lopen van het dorpsplein.
    Gelegen in een rustige buurt met een grote omheinde tuin, dit huis is een geweldige plek voor een familie vakantie.

    Drie slaapkamers, een badkamer, keuken, eetkamer, woonkamer en wikkel rond dek met BBQ - alles op een niveau, ook met een kelder-niveau wasruimte met wasmachine / droger.

    Slaapkamers: slaapkamer met queen bed, 2e slaapkamer met queen bed, 3e slaapkamer met 2 aparte bedden. Master heeft venster AC, 20 "TV, 3e slaapkamer heeft venster AC.

    Keuken: alle bijgewerkte apparatuur - vaatwasser, magnetron, koelkast, fornuis / oven, blender, mixer, TV - centrum bar met 2 krukken.

    Eetkamer: Zitplaatsen voor 6 rond eettafel, met opklapbare stoelen voor de gasten.

    Woonkamer: grote bank en love seat, computer bureau, TV met DVD, VCR, AM / FM-stereo-installatie met cd-wisselaar, telefoon, met hoge snelheid draadloos internet.

    Opmerking: Vanwege de verzekering regelgeving de open haard is niet functioneel.

We had a wonderful stay at the Shannon cottage with our dogs. The large fenced in yard was perfect! Also, the house had a well stocked kitchen for cooking needs and even had a bathroom full of small details like q-tips and toothbrushes. My husband and I would definitely stay here again!

We stayed here for a week over the 4th of July and was great. This house was one of the best appointed VRBO rentals we have stayed at. Everything was thought of, downtown beach towels and chairs. We loved how walkable it is to Downtown Bar Harbor. We were able to walk to the main drag within 5 minutes and could walk to the harbor on the other side within 10 minutes. It was also very close to Acadia and could get to most trail heads within 15-20 minute drive. Even with being so close, still had a quiet neighborhood feel.

My wife, daughter and I enjoyed this cozy and clean 3 bedroom home. It had a well equipped full size kitchen, separate dinning room, nicely remodeled bathroom, and a comfortable living room. The house had plenty of outlets. The laundry chute was a fun and convenient feature that led to the basement with a well lit laundry area. We had the pleasure of meeting the host, Barbara. She was very nice! I hope we can rent this house again the next time we visit Bar Harbor.Thank you Barbara for sharing this home!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Barbara’s beautiful property in Bar Harbor. The house was perfect, comfortable, clean, and cozy. We arrived a little before check-in and Barbara was kind enough to let us check in early! The house lacked nothing… the kitchen is fully stocked, the directions for everything (tv, smoke alarm, etc) all clear, and the shower was great after long days of hiking and walking around town. The location is wonderful. We were away from any town noise but able to walk to anywhere in bar harbor (shops, restaurants, food shopping, etc) within 10 minutes. I would highly recommend this property! We hope to be back. Thank you! :)

My family had an incredible stay here! It’s a really comfortable, clean house with a spacious fenced backyard that my kids and dog loved. It’s a very quiet neighborhood that’s also a five minute walk to the village green. Thanks for a memorable stay!

We stayed here 3 years ago and we enjoyed it both times. Our dogs loved the fenced backyard and we all enjoyed the short walk to everything downtown. The bathroom has been updated and is really nice. The house is cozy and comfortable. We have stayed in several other properties in Bar Harbor and we like this one best for our travel needs.

Great place!

This was a great place for both the humans and dogs in our family. Nicely walkable to downtown, a very short drive to Acadia, very clean house, plenty of space, and a great backyard for the dogs.

We enjoyed the entire week… it felt like home. The home was well equipped with everything needed for a stay away from home. The kitchen was amazing and easy for several people to work in preparing meals as well as clean up

Barbara was a great host and very responsive. The house was well laid out and well stocked from towels to kitchen needs. House was clean and the fenced in yard was perfect for our dog to run around off leash. Great location with only a 7 minute walk to the Green.

Great Location in a Quiet Neighborhood

We loved staying at this cozy cottage! It’s conveniently located within walking distance to restaurants, shops and the waterfront. And it’s just a very short drive to explore Acadia National park. The neighborhood is very quiet. Our pup enjoyed the fenced-in backyard too 🐶 We’re looking forward to coming back to Bar Harbor soon!

Very comfortable house, great location!

We have stayed at Shannon Cottage 4 times and love it there. The house is comfortable and well equipped. We take our dogs and the fenced yard is great for them. The neighborhood is quiet but a short walk to the center of Bar Harbor.
