'Appreciate the location, but the lack of convenience for arrival and departure is a serious drawback. No place for inner or tour pick up/drop-off. There is no real lobby and an only 2 chairs in the lower lobby when waiting for a ride.
The staff was pleasant. They did meet a special request that I made for a birthday one of our party was having and arranged to have the three room we reserved on the same floor. Otherwise I had virtually no contact with the staff. I am not sure if that is “good”...

'Loved our stay here! Awesome location in Auckland city and a short walk to amazing coffee shops and restaurants. The harbor is barely a ten minute walk away! The staff are really great too. One receptionist (I wish I remembered her name!) was so so so sweet. I have an aversion to elevators and asked to use the stairs, but she personally went with me up the lift and made sure I was comfortable. 'Room carpet needs cleaning to maintain the high standard of the hotel. From our room, the bathtub needs fixing especially when draining out the water. Cusions in our bedroom looks like it needs a good wash already. We paid a full breakfast buffet and it didn’t meet our expections from our previous Sofitel hotel breakfast buffet in other country. Over all, we had a good experience as a family.'

'Mooi verblijf! Ideaal gelegen om Auckland te bezoeken. Op loopafstnd van de winkelstraten en de gezellige haven waar allerlei leuke restaurants zitten. Parnell, het historische gedeelte ligt ook op wandelafstand. DE auto konden wij parkeren onder het hotel voor NZ 30 per dag. Prima geregeld.
Personeel erg vriendelijk en de kamer was rustig gelegen met uitzicht op he binnenplein. Wij gaan zeker terug!'

'Ohtel is a comfortable hotel at a great location. Because of the terrible weather in Auckland the elevator was not working. We stayed 4 nights and were hosted on the 4th floor so that was 8 stairs everyday for a couple of times. Very heavy. The breakfast was good, so was the room and the service. '
