« Stay: Late-May, 2026 This place was fantastic! Perfect for what we were doing--a quick one-night stay in Talkeetna, and then on to Denali NP. This little cottage is every bit as quaint and charming as shown in the Expedia listing. The place is about 2.5 hours to Denali, so it's a great mid-stopping place to take in a great area. It's clean, well-appointed, aesthetically pleasing, and yet very utilitarian. If you're a couple just looking to "chill" for two or three days before you hit Denali...
