'This property is great for proximity to town because it's off main street. The front staff are friendly and helpful - owner is inflexible regards breakfast time - we arrived at 9:05 and were denied food and had to spend 60$ to eat out. Should you to change dates or cancel due to unexpected events like landslides and ferry issues, weather etc, the owner is unresponsive and unwilling to help if you've booked through Expedia. The restaurant was closed for dinner and the outdoor dining was not...

'Great hotel. We had some trouble contacting them, but that was due to our phones. But when we arrived we asked the neighboring pizza place to class them and they arrived super fast to let us in. Room was very comfortable with interesting bedlinnen;). Great that they offer airport shuttle too, super useful'

'Private. Secluded. Clean. Beautiful. Wish we had more time to stay, but it was a short excursion for us to Talkeetna. The owners (Grace and Bill). Took the time to introduce themselves to us and were incredibly hospitable, made sure we had everything we needed. The continental breakfast nook is clean and well taken care of. The Cabin (Room#6) is private and quiet. Cannot stress the quiet. It was as relaxing as it could be. Thank you! We will be returning when time allows!'
