'The Wild Iris was very welcoming from the moment you walked onto the homestyle front porch and walked in through the lobby doors, you get a sense of peace and comfort. The room was kept nice and clean. The bed was comfortable. There is coffee and tea available in the lobby as well as DVDs to rent books to read and a cozy seating area next to a fireplace. 'We never saw any staff..they left an envelope on an outside board for us to get into the room. We were assigned an upstairs room with steep stairs and no elevator. We are in our late 70's and it was a chore taking our suitcases and belongings up these stairs. I knocked on their door to the main house to complain, and they never answered the door. Our room was very cluttered with furniture, and miscellaneous pictures, stuff, it had an extra bed, a phone that couldn't be accessed due to all the...

'I enjoyed all of it. It was a beautiful house outside needs a little work, but I don’t know how much they can do that with it being historical. I was bummed I didn’t see any ghost, but I kept hearing things at night. The breakfast was delicious. The person that served. It was very kind and she did a really good job. The room was big and spacious. The shower was nice. I really have no bad things to say about the place. I had a good birthday there.'
