'We’ve had a lovely stay at our three house home for 4 nights. The service was really great and we felt so welcome from the moment we’ve arrived with first of all a tour around the hotel and our appartment, our host gave us some great advice on good restaurants, walks and other things to know to have the best time in Madeira. We stayed in touch for all our needs via Whatsapp which was super convenient. We will defenitely return! P.S the friday pinchos on the hotel rooftrop where sooo delicious,...

'The hotel is very charming, and the surrounding gardens are beautiful and spacious. Big swimming-pool and lots of space to relax. The city-centre is easily reachable by short Uber-ride (they also have a free transfer at the hotel). The quinta itself is stunning and has many historic features. Our room was big and the bed was comfortable, the bathroom had a decent size. However the room was slightly musty and felt a little overused - nothing to worry though. A highlight was certainly the...

'Schoon hotel. Leuk personeel. Goed ontbijt. '

'We booked a deluxe room, and we got a normal room. The staff was aware of the mistake, but refused to refund the difference. They said I had to address the management. The management finally did not do anything. And that happened at that place two times!'

'Het ontbijt buffet is heerlijk. Buitenzwembad is top.

'smells a bit weird in the room but has a great view and amazing location, nice staff, super fast wifi.'

'Ontbijt wel monotoon'

'Was spotgoedkoop, erg vriendelijke gastheer en elke dag schoonmaak. Gebreken (geen airco, lichte badkamer schimmel) zijn wat mij betreft wel vergeven vanwege de verder algemeen positieve ervaring!'

'It was horrible. They claim to have a 24/7 reception but when we arrived in the night, there was no one there. It took 17 minutes of calling numbers before the owner picked up the phone. It took another 20 minutes before he called us back to give us a code to enter the building (which hadn’t been send before at expedia). The rooms were old, stain on the bed. But we were glad that we had a place to stay for the night.'

'geen airco en soms geluid storen'

'Really awful management, had to cancel our stay due to a medical emergency. Had asked management for a letter of cancellation or no show for my insurance policy and they’ve ignored all requests and have refused to provide evidence which means we can’t even go through the travel insurance to get some of the money back. Really disgraceful service and would advise to stay away from booking with such an awful company due to the lack of general help.'

'Its located very local which means you can walk to most places in Funchal'

'A great apartment on the edge of the old town. Fab views of the sea and of the local area - great for people watching. Good size living / kitchen area with well appointed cooking area. Full sized fridge freezer which is always a bonus. Bedroom at the back with a small rooflight window - no aircon - but a decent fan in both areas. Walk in bathroom/ shower was without a window and limited mechanical extraction - so had a v damp smell - a design fault - but had to keep that door closed. But the...
