'The Oaklands is a nice hotel with a great bar and beer garden. It is relatively close to the centre, you can walk. The room is nothing special but everything works. Easy to park.'

'The rooms are very comfortable, interestingly decorated, and well equipped with plug outlets, etc. Only negative is that meal service ends at 8pm in the restaurant, and road traffic can be a bit loud (if you are sensitive).'

'I always stay at the Lockkeeper when I'm up visiting family. It's clean, comfortable with plenty of parking and excellent wi-fi (I worked from the hotel one day, including video calls). The staff are always welcoming and friendly and I often eat at the pub when I stay. It would be good to have an ashtray by the hotel, the only ashtrays are currently in front of the pub.'
