The floors were dirty upon arrival. There were a lot of mosquitoes outside, which made it difficult to enjoy the backyard or use the grill. The screen door didn’t fully close, so we had to keep the glass door shut at all times to avoid letting mosquitoes inside. The AC was not very effective and didn’t cool the home well. Since we couldn’t leave doors open due to the mosquitoes, the indoor temperature was uncomfortable.Because we couldn’t grill, we cooked indoors. Most of the pots and pans were heavily scratched, and the baking pans were dirty. Utensils were available but scattered across multiple drawers and very disorganized, making cooking inconvenient. On the plus side, the appliances (stove/oven, dishwasher, fridge) appeared new and worked well.“Pet-friendly” seems to mean pets are allowed and a crate is provided, but there are no additional amenities. The bedrooms were spacious with accurate bed descriptions, but closets were locked and unusable. Sheets and towels were clean, and enough were provided for all guests. The living area was large and great for gathering. Overall, I booked this last minute for Father’s Day and it worked for a one-night stay. However, for the price, it didn’t feel like a good value. Checkout at 10 AM felt early, especially with a cleaning fee while guests are still expected to take out trash, wash dishes, and tidy the kitchen (which most likely contributed to the disorganized kitchen).
